We have three boys. DS No. 1 is Andrew Douglas as I have a scottish hubby!! Twin boys 2 and 3 arrived suddenly at 28wks and we thought of their names in 20 mins as the hospital chaplain was on her way to baptise them. For quickness we decided on Dad's first names as middle names and have an Alexander Francis, after f-in -law Frank and a Gregor Donald, very scottish but unfortunately my Dad was Donald and we could not have two lots of A.D initials. It suits him though it is a strong name and he is our little fighter!!! Both boys doing really well now - a year on. Drawing up a family tree recently it was lovely to see the grandparents names being used and it makes their names a touch unusual. Met a little Jean at a toddler group the other day. Love traditional names.
