v v cute...but also a tad stripper/pornstar

RatherBeOnThePiste · 26/06/2010 10:02

I like it but do be aware that it is one of the most popular names at the moment.

mumatron · 26/06/2010 14:44

bf has called her dd lexie. very cute.

but as has already been said, very popular atm.

Chynah · 26/06/2010 16:00

I use Lexi as a nn for DD. She has a longer formal name on bc.

BertieBasset · 26/06/2010 16:54

I think Lexi is very popular at the mo too, although v cute.

What about Alexa? Lovely name I think

sunchild77 · 26/06/2010 17:20

I like Alexia, with Lexie for short..

SE13Mummy · 26/06/2010 23:32

I know of a Lexie whose full name is Lexington... she's a girl.

Nancy66 · 27/06/2010 10:05

Thew new Maddison

BunnyLebowski · 27/06/2010 10:16

It's a WAG baby name. Sounds very tacky to me.

Overly popular as well.

Tidey · 27/06/2010 10:17

Nice but better if it's short for something. I went to school with an Alexis, who was called Lexie as a nn.

grumpypants · 27/06/2010 10:18

Ugh. Amanda Holden. Nuff said.

SirBoobAlot · 27/06/2010 10:20

Don't like it, sorry.

jellybeans · 27/06/2010 11:11

Bit popular, may get sexi lexi but othersie is nice. Prefer Alexa nn lexi.

diplodoris · 27/06/2010 11:18

Sorry but I don't like it.

NorbertDentressangle · 27/06/2010 11:20

Quite popular.

The ones I know of tend to be 'right little madams' (not saying that every Lexie is like that BTW).

I also know of a boy called Lexi -'bit of a handful' is my diplomatic description of him

Prefer Alexia, Alexandra, Alexis

Helokitty · 27/06/2010 12:21

Not my taste I'm afraid, for some of the reasons listed above!

nbee84 · 27/06/2010 12:24

She'll be called sexy lexie all the time!

narna · 27/06/2010 14:18

im not keen, just doesnt sound nice when you say it to me,it sounds harsh.
prefer Alex,Alexandria ,Alexia etc

MercyMe · 27/06/2010 14:32

I do like it, but would use it as a nn for Alexia or something similar.
