How to correctly pronounce Brigitte?

We are a bilingual anglo-franco couple looking for a name we can pronounce differently in English and French, but spell the same way, such as we found for big sister Audrey. Any ideas?

I would pronounce it Brij-it. My big sis is Bridget.

If it had the spelling Bridget then I'd pronounce it Bridge-it.

I would say Bri-ZHEET. Did meet a Bridg-ETTE the other day though

Spelt that way, option a. Like Ms Bardot.

I think Brigitte is a bit complicated. And Bridget/Brigid/Brigitte etc are quite old fashioned.

I'm German and know it as:

Bree-gitt-eh

Bri-zheet (like Brigitte Bardot) if French.
Brij-it would be appropriate for Brigid or Bridget. Or Breedh in the case of Brigid or Brighid (Irish).

in Norway i know it as Brigitta..the g sounding as gate,,
