A friend is thinking of calling her new DS Riley. She already has a DS called Austin.
What do you think?

I think it's ok and it goes well with Austin.

Hedwig3 · 23/06/2010 18:03

Quite like Austin but not Riley.

I Love it and want to call my baby Riley but my husband dooesn't like it however i have a plan. Once he sees me go through all the pain of birth and the midwife asks the baby's name i am just going to say Riley if its a boy and hope he doesn't argue with me lol

I know a Rylie (a girl), really don't like it!

I quite like Riley. I blame Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not fond of Austin, but she's already used that so fair dos.

diplodoris · 23/06/2010 19:22

May well attract "Life of Riley" jokes.

LimaCharlie · 23/06/2010 19:25

I like it and think it goes well with Austin - I know a Riley with brothers called Ashton, Carter and Spencer and a sister called Sydney - all really lovely children

mintyfresh · 23/06/2010 20:19

I know a girl called Riley - not nice for a girl but quite like it for a boy. Goes well with Austin!

janeite · 23/06/2010 20:27

Dislike both Riley and Austin. They are surnames.

LetThereBeRock · 23/06/2010 21:11

Hate it.

maxpower · 23/06/2010 21:15

Whrere I live, it's considered to be a pikey name. So no, I don't like it.
