Hi!
We have a Marigold and are thinking Charles or Monty for a boy and maybe Juniper (Juni/ Juno) for a girl.
Is Juniper too much with Marigold?
Thanks!

I think Juno on it's own is much better. Yes, Juniper would be too much with Marigold (IMHO).

I like it!

but....

when I was scrolling down Active Conversations I thought it said Marigold jumper and I was quite interested as I just saw a lovely bright yellow cardigan this morning.

Agree with Strand that Juniper might be too much with marigold but that Juno sounds great!

I think Juniper and Marigold would be fine, but if you decide not to go for Juniper, there are some very pretty similar-sounding names such as Juliet or Jennifer, and many other plant/tree names such as Holly or Willow.

I like Charles but personally I'm not keen on Monty.

I love Juniper and Marigold. Not keen on Charles but do like Monty.

Oh well done for having a Marigold! I am trying to persuade oh that its the name for our third dd! we have Rosabel and Daisy x

LC200 · 25/06/2010 08:34

I love Juniper, with Juno as an nn.

I love Marigold and Juniper together - how beautifully unique

Charles and Charlie bore me these days but Monty and Marigold as a sibset is just lovely and quirky.

Do you call her Goldie?
