Joanne/Joanna
I love Joanna and not keen at all on Joanne

I too like names ending in an 'a' - both of my DC (a DS and a DD) have names ending in 'a'.

Already thinking about the possible third DC's name lol

aspiegal · 12/06/2010 19:04

Right, thought of the names I like without 'ee' sounds in them or 'a' sounds on the end!!
Jasmine
Imogen
Lauren
Eleanor
Elizabeth
Annabeth
Sarah (I'm really cheating here!!)
Rue
Alexis
Isobel
Kestrel

It took a long time to find those names, most other names I like either have 'a' on the end, then a strong 'ee', 'ie', 'y' in them or on the end... I have to admit I was surprised people don't like those sounds

Those, plus:

Karen
Ellen
Catherine
Rose
Willow
Hazel
Harriet
Sybil
Florence
Anne
Lois
Susan
Nicole
Pearl
Elle
May/Mae
June
April
Amber

See it's really not that difficult? I am not saying I like all of these but at least they're a change from the usual something-a, no?

LOL. My DD has three names, and they all end in 'a'!
