Hera or Romilly?

Am 40+10 and still no name for this baby if its a girl. I think this is my final shortlist. Romilly would be shortened to Romy.

I already have Benedict & Rex. Your opinions please!

We have a Romilly - so I vote for that (except I sort of don't, because I'm a bit possessive about the name if you know what I mean).

Hedwig3 · 09/06/2010 16:03

Romilly is best with your boys in my opinion.
Good luck when he/she finally arrives.

LuluF · 09/06/2010 16:04

And strangely - if this next one is a boy, I have Benedict on my list...

gwendolenlongstocking · 09/06/2010 16:11

Romilly.

swanandduck · 09/06/2010 16:29

Romy is nice, but not Romilly.

ExitPursuedByABear · 09/06/2010 16:35

Know a Romilly and love the name, don't know a Hera but really love that too. Why not call her Romilly Hera?

Lauriefairycake · 09/06/2010 16:39

Hera doesn't sound like a real name

Romilly is better

DastardlyandSmugly · 09/06/2010 16:55

Romilly is nice but I like Romy better.

aspiegal · 09/06/2010 16:59

I like Hera better, I think it's lovely

lidofabiro · 09/06/2010 19:22

Hera

deeply · 09/06/2010 19:25

inveteratenamechanger · 09/06/2010 19:27

They are both lovely.

I love the name Romilly

Hermya321 · 09/06/2010 23:53

Hera's beautiful.

AnnVeronica · 11/06/2010 14:59

Another vote for Romilly Hera. Romilly is a beautiful, beautiful name!

wilkos · 11/06/2010 15:01

Pixie - we have a Romilly (think I've told you before) and she's also been called 'Rolly' - by her friend who couldn't pronounce it, either. On the whole, though, we don't shorten it.

It's really lovely, yes - and really suits a girl from babyhood all the way through to adulthood. We think it sounds better in full, too.

RnB · 12/06/2010 19:50

thanks everyone

Both lovely, but I especially like Hera (Especially with your other DCs' names.)

qumquat · 13/06/2010 11:15

Hera - the queen of the Gods! I also really like Hero but DH has vetoed.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 13/06/2010 18:38

Prefer Romy

And I prefer Juno to Hera
