Can I have your opinions on Cedric please?
I posted about it a very, very long time ago (at least a year) and got a negative response, so wondering if the tide had turned yet!
It is high on my list - a real possibility if dc5 turns out to be a ds (testing in 3 days so posting to keep my hands away from the wee sticks!)
Thanks

The tide will not turn on Cedric, it is a terrible name!!

OnEdge · 07/06/2010 08:48

Not that keen on it.
Sounds old fasioned.
But the more i think of it, the more it is growing on me.

pavlovalover · 07/06/2010 08:50

I actually love it. I'm not sure I would be brave enough to use because it is definitely a love or hate type name. But I think it's got great character and Ceddy is a very cute nickname.

I really like it - classic and cool. Also nice that is is not very common.

lidofabiro · 07/06/2010 10:34

It's OK

Rubena · 07/06/2010 12:06
Hmm
midnightexpress · 07/06/2010 12:07

Nope.

PuppyMonkey · 07/06/2010 12:38

Thanks God for Rubena and midnightexpress, I thought I was living in a parallel universe where hideous names were acceptable for a minute then then.

LetThereBeRock · 07/06/2010 12:42

It's terrible.

Bessie123 · 07/06/2010 12:44

Is this a joke? What a horrible name. Especially if your ds turns out to have a lisp. Or a weak 'r'. Heh.

PuppyMonkey · 07/06/2010 12:48

Thedwick..

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 07/06/2010 12:51

Dear God no.

mamas12 · 07/06/2010 12:52

cruel imo

annasophia · 07/06/2010 13:17

But why would a lisp be any worse for a Cedric than a Seb, Alex, Oscar or any other name that includes the sound...?

tummytickler · 07/06/2010 16:42

Well, i thnk it has more in favour of it than last time .
I must admit the nn Ric fills me with horror, but Ceddy is lovely!

I used to work in disneyland paris and one of the handsome prince's real name was Cedric - he was French and gorgeous, so I quite like it
