Thoughts for my twins? (Nico pronounced Nee-ko rather than nick-o).

Sorry. Not my cup of tea.

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 06/06/2010 22:04

Honestly? Neither, sorry. Nico esp. so.

TheBolter · 06/06/2010 22:07

Zelda is the name of one of my dd's DS games - it's quite a well known one.

Not keen on Zelda, but I do like Nico.

TheBolter · 06/06/2010 22:07

I mean the DS game is well known, not the name.

lidofabiro · 06/06/2010 22:08

I like Nico, not keen on Zelda.

icapturethecastle · 06/06/2010 22:15

After Zelda Fitzgerald? I like it - love her book Save the last Waltz she although quite a sad life . Nico re Velvet Underground - she was also so beautiful and cool. I like them both.

SirBoobAlot · 06/06/2010 22:17

Don't like either, sorry. How about Xena instead of Zelda?

ThatVikRinA22 · 06/06/2010 22:20

zelda is awful. did you never see terrorhawks? (terrible puppet show from 80s with a haggard witch called Zelda - sorry but its all i think whenever i now hear the name)

nico is ok

Thediaryofanobody · 06/06/2010 22:20

I love Zelda, don't like Nico.

MagalyZz · 06/06/2010 23:44

I love Zelda. I like NIco but it's not in the same excellent league as Zelda.

What about Zelda and Victor?

mathanxiety · 07/06/2010 01:23

Love them both.

annasophia · 07/06/2010 10:34

FranSanDisco · 07/06/2010 10:36

Do you like Zara, Zoe or Xanthe as alternatives to Zelda?

aspiegal · 07/06/2010 10:57

I agree with lidofabiro, Xanthe and Zoe are lovely, not keen on Zelda. Nico is a really good name
Zinnia could also be an alternative, or Zinaida - it's the 'd' in Zelda that I don't like!

ZZZenAgain · 07/06/2010 11:05

Is his nameg oing to be officially Nico or are you calling him some version of Nicolas and shortening it to Nico? Nicholas I like and Nico I find ok as a nickname.

ZZZenAgain · 07/06/2010 11:19

I'm actually coming round to Nico and Zelda.

DastardlyandSmugly · 07/06/2010 11:29

I like both.

meadowlarks · 07/06/2010 11:30

Nico is getting popular, and to be honest is a bit too Russian oligarch for a British child in my opinion. I do like Zelda though, so go for it.

ZZZenAgain · 07/06/2010 11:36

it is sounding more Greek to me

ZZZenAgain · 07/06/2010 11:37

Nico pronounced Nee-ko sounds Greek to me I meant

ZZZenAgain · 07/06/2010 11:42

Russian would be more likely to have Kolya as a nick for Nikolai
Mind you an oligarch... anything is possible.
