Hero turtle names!!

It may just be the preg hormones, but I am strangely drawn to the names of the Hero Turtles, especially Raphael and Leonardo. I do know that they were artists before they were turtles ..... but will people make the turtle connection straight away, or can I get away with it?

People will only make the connection whilst the boy is preschool age, it will disappear after that.

I quite like Raphael too .

I agree with lljkk. Leonardo shortened to Leo is lovely. And if I ever have another boy he's very likely to be Raphael so I am very keen on that name.

I like both names (and didn't think of turtles).

I know a 3 year old Raphael - spelt Rafael I think - called Raf for short, I really like it. Didn't think of the heroes in a halfshell once.

I love Raffaella (sp??) for a girl. Raffy for short. Cute.

DramaInPyjamas · 06/06/2010 09:11

I probably would immediately think of the Turtles. But only because I have a DS obsessed with them at the moment!

Nice names though.

Think you are right, it must be the hormones.

Lets not forget the secondary characters in the show...

How about Shredder? Or Splinter?
