The only one I like is tamsin

mathanxiety · 03/06/2010 17:43

I only like Tamsin and Tatiana.

legallyblond · 03/06/2010 17:45

Another vote for Tamsin here. Not keen on any of the others I'm afraid.

minipie · 03/06/2010 17:50

I like Tamsin.

Think you have your answer!

kizzibear · 03/06/2010 17:56

Eurgh, I don't like it too much, but I need to let him have at least one of his names on our shortlist!

Can also be spelt Tamzin.

mathanxiety · 03/06/2010 18:06

Liana, Fawna and Shawna are all a bit 'dolly-bird' ish. Keeley and Darcy are not in that category. I don't like Darcy because of the arse sound.

Keeley is not so bad, come to think of it.

Tatiana has the pet name Tania in Russia.

CuppaTeaJanice · 03/06/2010 18:10

I like Tatiana and Keely, prefer Tasmin to Tamsin.

Fawna and Shawna are just awful.

lidofabiro · 03/06/2010 18:14

I like Liana (or Lianna, or Eliana) and Tatiana.

telsa · 03/06/2010 18:24

Tamsin definitely the best! I read about Paul Raymonds' granddaughter Fawn yesterday - maybe cuter than Fawna? Liana is ok. Tatiana is seductive and Russian - I like it. Does it get Tatty as a nickname!

Doozie · 03/06/2010 21:14

Darcy - nope
Liana - nope
Fawna - & flora?! nope
Shawna - nope
Tamsin - ok
Tatiana - are you Russian? If not, no.
keeley - nope

EleanorD · 03/06/2010 21:16

Tamsin and Tatiana are my faves!

eatyourveg · 03/06/2010 21:22

Tamsin and possibly Darcy but thats getting rather too popular of late. Did you consider Tasmin?

LaDiDaDi · 03/06/2010 21:24

Tamsin.

BrigitteBardot · 03/06/2010 21:36

Tamsin

LadyMetroland · 03/06/2010 21:43

They're all awful apart from Tamsin

Sorry!

rachxx · 04/06/2010 09:25

I like Lianna and Keleigh

Jamieandhismagictorch · 04/06/2010 09:49

Tamsin (Tammy)

or Keeley - though would prefer it if Keeley were short for something

Also:

What about Trudy?

PenguinNZ · 04/06/2010 10:01

I like Darcy, but none of the others, sorry.

SillyTillyBilly · 04/06/2010 20:23

Tamsin or Darcy are the only ones I would consider from your list - sorry.

janeite · 04/06/2010 20:26

Darcy - lots of people on here hate this but I am quite fond of it for obvious reasons. Would only contemplate it as a middle name though.
Liana - nope
Fawna - hideous, sorry
Shawna - even more hideous
Tamsin - quite pretty
Tatiana - mouthful
keeley - no

alfiemama · 04/06/2010 20:34

I quite like Tamsin, seems quite underused.

mummyosar · 05/06/2010 18:34

Assuming you really do want honest opinions:

Darcy - sounds like a boys name
Liana - like it, is it pronounced Leanna? if so, like it the best.
Fawna - no
Shawna - OK, think its such an unusual name that you could go for more traditional spelling
Tamsin - lovely
Tatiana - truthfully i think poledancer (so sorry)
keeley - OK.

Ikes · 05/06/2010 20:30

I'm such a traditionalist that I'm afraid i don't like any of them. Tamsin seems popular with other mums but I'd worry that in teenage years this would become tampon!!! - kids are cruel

kizzibear · 05/06/2010 20:30

I find it sooo funny everyone is apologising to me!!! They are my partners choices not mine!!

Thanks for feedback! Oh in the process of thinking of other names....uh oh!

Going to let him have Tamsin and Liana on the shortlist but only as middle names.
