Danish names

OH is Danish, I'm English but with Welsh/Irish ancestry. I'd like something that works in both languages, though more from a pronunciation point of view than spelling. In my experience quite a lot of Danish names look straightforward but are almost impossible to pronounce correctly as an English speaker.

Looking for names for boys and girls at this stage.

Surname is very Danish but reasonably common in the UK, 2 syllables

So not Scandanavian but Nordic!

Who would have thought this would be so hard?

Toying with the idea of a name that can not necessarily be easily pronounced correctly by an English speaker but can be shortened to an English sounding nn for everyday use. Might expand my options a bit

I knew a Danish family and they had three boys called Arne, lars and neils and two girls una and Nina. All in their 40s now. Love the name Arne.

My DH is danish, and we've called our DD Kristiana

My DH is also Danish (and I also have Welsh family). We went with Nikolas and Thomas - pronounceable by all in the families.
(Both boys are wearing the Danish football kit and supporting Denmark in the World Cup by the way.)

Will they be switching allegiances now?

Well we live in Scotland, so at school they are still the ones with the team that actually got to the World Cup!

Bit of a disaster area last night though!

My Danish friends are Line (Lee-na) and Helle (Hell-er). DD3 is also Line!

Helle

Anna

Jacob
Johannes
Felix
Christian
Tobias
Stefan (can't remember how this is spelt - think differently to how I have)
