i love this name its one that we are considering for our baby! i was just about to post a thread asking the same thing!!!

Makes me think of the books/TV series about the murderer Dexter but he is a great character!

hmm, I seem to have heard it a lot ever since Charlotte Church used it for her son, so I would worry it will become a bit faddy and feel dated in a few years.

I really don't understand the appeal of it.

Love it a lot, didn't know Charlotte Church has used it though, and that would put me off (not Charlotte Church so much as ANY celebrity).

know of someone with a DP called Dexter - they have a DS also called Dexter after daddy and a DS called Dexie after daddy - i kid you not!
that kind of puts me off sorry
