due in 5 days help me choose girls name!

Ok, 5 days to go and still no decision if DC2 is a girl!

Current list is:

Meredith
Imogen
Tessa (shortened to Tess)
Eliza
Rebecca
Phoebe

MN will be May. Any thoughts? If I'm honest, Tess is my favourite, Imogen is DH's favourite, and Meredith is the top 'compromise' name that we both like.

Rebecca. Would have called Erin it if it wasn't my name, so she has it as her MN.

I adore Tess/Tessa, but personally wouldn't use it with May as a middle name. It reminds me of 'Tresemmé' the haircare range! (Might just be me though!)

I like Tessa/Tess but love Eliza i dont like Merry May to be honest and wouldnt be gone on Imogen but do like Genie as a nn...

Good to hear the MN jury (mostly) likes our names! I think I'm leaning towards Tess, Meredith and Eliza as my top 3 now, while DH is really smitten with Meredith. I can see your point about Merry May, but I guess she won't get called that much - if her MN is being used it would be with the full first name, and Meredith May isn't so bad. May is a family name so we're stuck with it!

Boy names are either Dylan James or Nathaniel James,depending on what suits him best! Due today so hopefully not long til we find out...

Oooo Merry May - I think that's adorable!

just an update - DD2 popped out 12 days late on Saturday, we both took one look at her and knew her name was Meredith! Loads of dark hair and big blue eyes, somehow she just looks like a Meredith. It's weird, despite being obsessed with the name Tess all pregnancy it didn't even enter my head.

She is Merry for short and it completely suits her, she's a very happy little thing!

Eliza is lovely. Why don't you wait till she is born and choose then? You might find that a name suits her better. That's what I did with my DDs. especially DD1, the favorite was emilie but she didn't look like one...

im a becca, short for RebeKAH, i have always liekd this spelling more!! may is very popular mn at the moment, how about Rebekah Kate? my mn is grace which goes well too but is more popular now also.
