Any suggestions

We used the only name we were both 100% about for DD. This is our current maybe list for DC2. Any suggestions for other names that might fit? We're unlikely to use anything top ten for either sex, anything very 'now' like Grace, Ella or Ava or surnames as first names. Ideally the name wouldn't have more that two syllables (but this is flexible), wouldn't end in an s or x sound and and s sound anywhere in it isn't great because of PITA surname. Any ideas?! TIA

Christian (Kit)
Hugo
Raphael
Otto
Caspar
Jasper

Anna
Elisabeth
Jemima

Love your girls choices. All fab (although much prefer Elizabeth to Elisabeth)

Boys choices
I like Kit (but not Christian - too churchy for me personally)
Hugo - great name
Raphael - cool
Otto - less keen but ok
Caspar - thought it was wierd when I first heard it but know one and he is cute and I love it now
Jasper - quite nice

I like Christian/Kit and Elizabeth (did you do it with an 's' on purpose?).

weegiemum · 29/05/2010 21:58

Not keen on any of your boys names.

Anna is fab though

Needaname · 29/05/2010 22:14

Yes janeite, going for the Germanic spelling. Though maybe with our surname it would be kinder to stick to a z!

Sidge you've hit two of my favourite girls' names! Clara is DD's name though and I think Claudia and Clara might be a bit much.

Oh you have good taste

Yes Claudia and Clara are a bit too similar.

Clara and Anna sound lovely together.

Hugo or Caspar for a boy, Anna or Elisabeth for a girl.
