Help please! Rosie, Lucy or Lally?

Your thoughts please on:

Rosalind (nn Rosie)
Lucy
Eulalie (nn Lally)

Lally is dreadful. Just makes me think 'Doolally'

I'd go for Rosie.

Eulalie (too much like orally) and lally are awful

Lally is awful as is Eulalie.

You can have the first two but I expressly forbid Eulalie/Lally because it's awful.

Oh god, a lally is a slang word for a testicle in our house. Please not that!

Other names are nice though, esp Rosalind.

I think it is cultural as I know the name Lally and love it. But it is not well known in Britain. I also love Rosalind.

Lucy ! definately

How about Rosemary? My daughter liked to be called Rosie when she was little and now a teen likes Rose.
She thinks when she is a wealthy professional(?!) then she will be called Rosemary.
So lots of options to a pretty name!

We too have a Rosie although as a teen she moved to her registered name of Rosa.

Rosalind is nice though I prefer Rosamund. I like Lucy too but its very popular these days

Lally and Eulalie are just terrible imho, sorry. Rosalind is the nicest.

I like Eulalia -- the middle A is a long sound, and use Laila as a nn.

Hard to choose between Rosalind and Lucy -- one sounds a lot more formal than the other. I think I'd plump for Lucy.
