Help! Are these girls names nice- or poncy beyond belief?

I like only Cordelia and Allegra

Quick update from me having started this poncy name debate- baby due at the weekend and we still have NO name and have got sick of all the above from too much talking about them- be warned! Baby is now coming out as baby X which is a disaster as where we live she has to be registered in 5 days from the birth. Can anyone help!!!

Nothing wrong with "poncey" names imo.

Of your original list, I prefer Cordelia. Augusta feels a bit harsh, but she'll grow into it, and it's a strong name, which I do like. Not too keen on the others.

As far as new options - not poncey, but names I rather like include Julianna, Marguerite and, simply, Anna.

If I have a daughter, I'll call her Anna Marguerite.

Saskia- love it, but name of ex-gf of dh (had to also discount Sophie and Claudia on those grounds- grrr)
Viola and Violet- very pretty but friend just nabbed them.

Love Francesca - will run it by DH.

Oh I loved Clementine.... til I told people and they all responded by singing that rubbish song or talking about oranges I just feel it's a name that leaves the owner open to just that bit too much p**s taking. Oh and SIL said 'Oh I can call her Flemmy Clemmie'.... great
