Looks like we have finally agreed on a name choice for our baby due in July.
We do not know the sex but have chosen
Ewan James for a boy and Martha Rose for a girl

Opinions on those names please. I'd really like to know what people think.
Please tell me I am not making a mistake .

Rose is a very common middle name. I think it's nice, too, but you may be bored by how popular it is.

I just don't like Ewan, sorry, sounds too much like "Ooh yuck".

I love Martha and James, though. You won't be able to please everybody!!

Brilliant choices: great names. Love them.

Martha Rose is lovely and I like James but really dislike the name Ewan, sorry.

Euan or Ewan?? DH says he now wants the original Scottish version.

Both lovely solid traditional names

Martha is great. Not sure about Ewan.

Love Martha, but if you go for Martha Rose, then it really should be Martha Rose Donna

I really haven't been watching too much Doctor Who. Honest!

Euan with a U would be my choice.

queenclarion · 12/05/2010 21:02

Martha Rose is nice.

I don't like Ewan because there are many variant spellings of it.

mintyfresh · 12/05/2010 21:10

I like Martha Rose

Not keen on Ewan - I know a boy called this and I always forget his name for some reason!!
