Female equivalent for John

TTC number 3 and we are thinking of naming dc after my grandad (John) . Then we thought what if we have a dd

Both me and my brothers middle names are after my grandad, his is John, mine is Jayne.

I have come across Johnina in Scotland, but I can't see it catching on...

its Jane - I have it as part of my name and my DD1 has it too after my gran and grandad

John in Irish is Sean so that would give you a feminine Seana, which you might anglicise to Shauna or Sheona I think is the Scots version?

The Welsh equivalent of Jane is Sian, if that's any help.
