Beatrice?

I love it, but am told it is getting "too" popular .... what do you think?

I didn't know it was popular-I don't know any.

Sorry-maybe there are lots of babies with the name. I supply teach and have never taught a Beatrice-I was judging by that.

love it!! a good friend has a beatrice (but thats the only one i know) and she sometimes calls her Bea which i love even more!

I like it, lovely meaning too - don't know any but we're up in Scotland as that means nothing as DD1 who is Isabella is the only one I know and according to MN 'wisdom' its too common/overused and at least 63 in every class

It's a lovely classic name.

I like it a lot - I know an awful lot of primary school children called Beatrice though, and a couple of Beatrix's. That said, I have 4 children at 2 different primary schools, and a nursery and toddler groups, and I work with newborns so I come across a hell of a lot of kids!
I would say if you live SE it is really quite popular, in a quiet, understated kind of way!

I have a Beatrice, she is 4months old

She is DD4 dizzydixies - btw she is a dream baby, never cries, always smile, sleeps all the time....slotted right in, like she was always here

I dont know any others, i live in sw. I have children in three different schools and know lots of kids, dd2 spends lots of time in hosp, so see lots of kids there, havent heard it.

I do still get when i say it but i dont care - we love it !!!!
