how wrong would it be to call our child Bailey Bunting?

i love the name Bailey and figure that our child is going to get made fun of anyway with the surname Bunting, so why not just put a name i love in front of it?

it would be too cruel wouldn't it?

You know damn well it would be

besides, Everyone will ask you "ooh, like the drink"

scurryfunge · 29/04/2010 16:10

Very cruel and along the lines of Chardonnay and Tequila

addictedisinthesecondtrimester · 29/04/2010 16:11

oh, i didnt even think about the drink (i'm t-total, and always have been)

i was thinking in terms of the nusery rhyme baby, baby, bunting as Bailey sounds so close to baby.

On a scale of one to ridiculous it falls somewhere around bloody awful.

Alouiseg · 29/04/2010 16:12

Please don't!

ShatnersBassoon · 29/04/2010 16:13

Cruel. Sounds like the result of a drunken fumble at a summer fete.

ShowOfHands · 29/04/2010 16:13

Bailey that is. Bunting's a fab surname.

differentID · 29/04/2010 16:13

You have another 28 weeks or so before you meet your little one.

What's wrong with Cliff or Hilda anyway?

addictedisinthesecondtrimester · 29/04/2010 16:17
