Twins names

I am having twins very soon and if they are both girls i would like to use the names Clara and Sarah. I am a bit worried that they sound too similar (at the end of the name if you know what I mean).
So what do you think?

They do sound quite similar and Sarah is sometimes mispronounced as Sara....sometimes Clara is mispronounced too so it might be confusing

Thanks - thats my worry, i think we would use Sally as a nickname so mostly would be Clara and Sally. Oh don't know really!

They do sound similar but if you think Sarah will mostly be called Sally then I don't think it will matter.

Why not just call her Sally? Clara and Sally are lovely

I think Clara and Sarah go very nicely together.

Try calling them- will you get tongue tied when you want them to come in from the garden or downsatirs for a meal?

Sarah is nice, but the 2 together don't roll that well to my ear. Sally is ok.

How about Sadie. Clara and Sadie sounds lovely.

I would just call them Clara and Sally. Lovely names. Agree with Lora that you'd end up mispronouncing them when yelling in a hurry... I know a "Zoe and Noah" who often end up "Zoah and Noey" in haste!!

NB LOVE Sadie too. Clara and Sadie is great.

Thanks all, my husband is insistant that Sally is a nickname and therefore we have to have a 'proper' name! I like Sadie too - food for thought!

What about Clara and Susie?

Sadie and Sally are both diminutives of Sarah, but you might consider them names in their own right

I agree - clara & sarah are nice names but just too similar....but clara with either sally or sadie is lovely
