Maxim - Yeah or Nay

DC3 is due in November and we're going with Astrid Nova for a girl but are stuck for a boys name.

So far we've got:

Ewan
Sebastian
Vincent (Vinny)
and my favourite Maxim.

Come on give me your thoughts (on the girls name too, in case I've missed summat). I can take it

Maxim, trying too hard. And I think one of The Prodigy is called Maxim, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but probably not a sensible name choice.

That's what I though - Maxim De Winter. I could cope with Max, but would try to stick with Maxim (assuming I can get dp to agree!).

If it's a boy then it's unlikely to be puny as DP is 6'4' and I'm pretty tall too. I love Prodigy - saw them at T in the Park many moons ago.

Girls name will be Astrid - Nova is the middle name, although I was toying with using it as a first name.

Maxim is a lads mag; however my dd goes to preschool with a Maxime (his mother is French) which I think is loads better.

Maxim (de Winter) will be shortened to Max. I know (counts quickly) six Maxes aged 5-7 yrs if that matters to you.

It's just that your other names are much more unusual. I know one Sebastian (always Seb), one Ewan (Ewan and whose army?) and no Vincents at all. Or Astrids. Tho I shared a house with one once and she was soooo beautiful (Danish).

Thanks all for comments. Dp has (I think) vetoed Maxim.

DD1 is Stella and DD2 Lois (just outed myself in RL I think lol). Both girls have a star link (dd2 has Seren as mn) which is why I wanted Nova as mn. Sounds like most folk aren't keen though.
