Hello everyone, this may seem odd but im wondering if anyone else had this problem when registering their baby.
My DS is now 2 yrs old, but when we registered him the computer told the registar that he was already registered, took a while before she realised that the computer had simply had the same information put in it before: It turned out that a boy was born the same day as our DS with the same first and second name, but born in hampshire - we are in berkshire - which we thought was quite a rareity all in all and its nice to have a little story for him about him having a name twin born on the same day etc. or are we wierd? lol, has anyone else had something strange like this happen?

I don't have a particularly unusual name, but the only other combination of my first, middle and last that is on the birth registration indexes was born in the same month and year as me. I always wonder who she is!

My friend and her sister-in-law share the same name and the same date of birth. When in hospital having her DD, my friend was thought to be her SIL and they were using all the wrong medical notes .

I work in a bank and after having dd1 I popped into a branch to show her off to some collegues and they had had a customer in who's daughter had the same dob, 1st and middle name. When she next came in they asked her about the name and they had seen it on the board at the midwife office loved it and stole used it.

There was a girl at my gym with the same first and last name as me, I doubt she has the same middle name, but it is a bit odd.

What are his first and middle names?

When I was buying household insurance shortly after getting married, I gave my married name which has a very unusual spelling and my dob. The operator said oh we already have you in the system and rattled off an address 400 miles away.

So there is someone out there with same name, same spelling and same dob. Really freaky.

Our last household insurance which was bought from a different company had my dh's address as our home address and my address at what I can only assume is my 'double'. I have toyed with writing to her and often wonder if she has documents with my address on them.
