I love Vivienne and Beatrice.

Goingspare · 14/04/2010 23:21

I like Beatrice.

Nancy is growing on me (i.e. I can see that it might work for someone younger than my auntie).

Mousesmummy · 14/04/2010 23:25

Goingspare!
I love Vivienne but really do not like Viv, which it would inevitably get I think??

paisleyleaf · 14/04/2010 23:57

Nancy.

I know too many Beas and I'm not so keen on the other 2.

jenduff · 15/04/2010 00:40

Love all of them - don't know anyone who has used those names

dizzydixies · 15/04/2010 09:07

love them all great list!

henry37 · 15/04/2010 09:40

i like Elspeth best.

Kneazle · 15/04/2010 09:43

Beatrice

Nancy is a bit twee
don't like Elspeth very spitty name
Vivienne reminds me of the young ones

plimsolls · 15/04/2010 11:08

I think they are all nice but as they are all different in sounds, length, last-letters etc I suspect that one of them would go best with whatever your surname is and the others wouldn't so much. Would that help you choose?

5DollarShake · 15/04/2010 11:17

Definitely Vivienne for me - love that name.

Don't like Viv as a nn, but I read a book some time ago where the Vivienne was called Vivi.

migola · 15/04/2010 11:22

Vivienne is lovely. Agree with 5dollarshake about Viv, Vivi much much nicer

JosephineClaire · 15/04/2010 15:14

Magaly · 15/04/2010 15:16

Nancy, not keen on your others but love Nancy.

jellybeans · 15/04/2010 18:11

Elspeth

madamefreckle · 17/04/2010 23:10

Ooh! You like exactly the same names as me...except i wouldn't go for Vivienne. Beatrice (Bea) is great and out of the list strikes me as sounding v. sweet but a bit more serious, Nancy as a bit more flighty perhaps but also strong-minded (I'm thinking Oliver Twist and Swallows & Amazons!). Elspeth is nice and unusual. Can't go wrong with any of these!
