Theodore, Henry, Luke and Arthur Francis are my favourite. Tobias is nice, but I don't think I'd put it with Michael. Given it's Hebrew Scriptures/Old Testament feel I think I'd opt for Tobias Micah.

My favourite is Caspar but my Mum and Nanna don't like it.

How much do you think new Mums need to listen to the older generations? Their opinion means a lot, but I don't want to feel pressured by them either...

Sorry - I see Caspar is your Favourite .... to answer your question, I wouldn't worry too much. I'm not sure my mum liked DS1s name (Evan). It's just that it was not a name she was familiar with, or expected

Luke Francis is my favourite.

Some of them are quite popular if that bothers you (Harry, Theo for example), Fin in its myriad forms is uber popular (Finlay the better spelling). Of course they're popular for a reason but you might want a way of narrowing it down?

Caspar is great. My favourite by a mile, followed by Tobias.

I only really don't like Luke. Lucas and Luca are great names, but I do not like Luke at all. Joel and Leo I don't think stand out as interesting or special at all and I prefer Ivo to Ivan.

Love Frederick (Fred) and George. Also really like Michael for middle name as it is a family name too.

Made myself chuckle thinking Frederick Michael sounds lovely then tried it with George ................ George Michael!!!!!!

Hippopo, I reached the same George Michael conclusion, made me chuckle out loud - DH thought I'd gone a little mad!

Thanks everyone for feedback on here; I really do like Caspar and Arthur, but DH & Mum are dead set on convincing me Caspar is a bad choice
