Remy is gorgeous

Divatheshopaholic · 30/03/2010 22:01

Remy is nice, but make sure no pet named Remy in your neighborhood.

Is Rennie the first thing everyone thinks of when they hear Remy?Oh dear..
Dh hates Beau(I love it) but would also go with Remy but hate the thought of people taking the p*"s behind your back

Remy made me think of the brandy

mathanxiety · 01/04/2010 23:08

Oh Cinderella, you've gone all wobbly.

The only other name I would consider with Ellis is Vaughn.

paisleyleaf · 01/04/2010 23:09

Remy again?
It reminds me of an insult from schooldays.

piprabbit · 01/04/2010 23:11

Round here, Beau is a boys name and Remy is a girls name.

So Beau?

mathanxiety · 02/04/2010 04:02

Remy is a great boys' name, unusual, cool, French but not la di da.

Remy is also very easy to pronounce.

oobs · 04/04/2010 16:28

ok so, is remy martin a cognac which is a brandy? if so it would be like brandy alexander, a cocktail right? song by feist also...

TrillianAstra · 04/04/2010 16:40

The only Remy I have ever met was a girl.

Beau is horrible.

CinderellaRach · 07/04/2010 14:11

Remy is definitely a girl but then the 3 Ellis's I know are also girls.

coldtits · 10/04/2010 13:03

Yuk. niether, sorry.

I think a child's name says NOTHING about the child but it screams VOLUMES about the parents, and neither Beau ( the old fashioned term for boyfriend) or Remy (isn't that a type of liquor?) speaks highly. It's only one step away from sticking extra K's and I's in things, and adding a hyphen.

CinderellaRach · 10/04/2010 13:05

It's actually a boys name bamboostalks.Remi in french is masculine. Also Remy is a derivative of Remington which is a mans name.
I know Ellis is unisex.Personally think it sounds better on boys though!!(Slightly bias though)

Coldtits(love the name btw)-I also would think 'yuk' about made up names with extra letters, hyphens etc..
But didn't think either Beau or Remy would fit in to that category
