dd is due in 5 weeks ,the final two names she likes are oakley noah and finley noah !!

Don't like Oakley at all sorry, I don't like designer names.

Finley is nice though.

No to Oakley.
Finley (although I was spell it Finlay) and Noah are both nice.

Noah extremely popular at the moment. Also know a few baby "Finlay's". Oakley makes me think of shades or skiing gear or something.

I don't like either, I'm afraid.

There are so, so many Finns around (all the Finlays, Finleys, Finnians etc) that I'd avoid it on that reason alone.

Oakley is a little more original, so if I had to choose one, this would be it.

i love both of them ,yes my dd knows ive posted on here thats the 2 names she likes so i guess its one of them also my sons gf are having a boy 9th may they are calling him lucas matthew ,

Finley Noah is my fave, even though it's very popular. Oakley is OK but abit too different. Lucas Matthew is lovely.

Finn (Finlay/Finegan/Fintan/Finbar and on and on and on and on and on...) and Noah are so ubiquitous they've started to cancel each other out.

Finlay is great, especially shortened to Fin.

Oakley is a designer brand, like Gucci.

Finley Noah. Oakley is really horrible, imo. Would your DD consider Dara, or Daragh, Irish for Oak?

Noah is great as is Fin or even Ffin? There is a ffinlo in ds2's class apparently a manx name. definitely not Oakley. In my neck of the woods its the name of a local school!

Oakley couls be shortened to Oak...which would be just too cool, IMO.

I don't mind it, prefer it to Finley.

FWIW Oakley is my grans dogs name but I do think it's cute , can I pry even more and ask does he actually get called Oakley Noah or has it been shortened at all?

nah its just oakley, we just say noah as a sunday name ;)we love it as it diffrent and he suits it thanks x
