Agree, Rebecca

cookielove · 16/03/2010 21:02

Lexi - Love
Martha - not so sure
Rebecca - Sweet but i know lots
Florence- very pretty
Libby - like it, but with full name Elizabeth
Stephanie - don't like
Clementine - don't like

CuppaTeaJanice · 16/03/2010 21:03

Lexi - nice but Amanda Holden puts me off.
Martha - A very 'sturdy' name
Rebecca - child of the 1970s
Florence - bit of a mouthful with your surname
Libby - My favourite
Stephanie - Good choice.
Clementine - no. Know one with an annoying mother.

yellowcircle · 16/03/2010 21:07

I find Lexi a really difficult name. I think it's very nice, but...it rhymes with sexy and I think you'd get called "sexy Lexi" etc which would be fine in certain situations but deeply uncomfortable in other situations. Also, what if Lexi isn't sexy - the namecalling by teenagers would be horrible.

thirtysomething · 16/03/2010 21:09

Lexi - cool
Martha - beautiful
Rebecca - lovely
Florence - lovely
Libby - cool
Stephanie - too 70s for my taste
Clementine - sorry, think it sounds awful with your surname and she and you will get bored of it very quickly.i can't imagine a 40 year old called Clementine!!

lifeas3plus1 · 16/03/2010 21:37

Rebecca

Tobermory · 16/03/2010 22:28

I like Libby with Elizabeth on BC also Martha.

Id wondered about Clementine but couldn't convince myself that it would be a good grown-up name so vetoed it.

I think Lexi is too 'Hello' magazine and for me isn't a name in itself.

Stephanie and Rebecca both a bit nothingy.

mazzystartled · 16/03/2010 22:40

Alexia or Alexa for Lexi?

Elizabeth for Libby

Florence is going to do a Ruby/Grace/Olivia (is beautiful though)

I love Clementine but also a bit faddy

Martha & Rebecca - nice but kind of ordinary

Stephanie - still too 70s for me

TotallyUnheardOf · 16/03/2010 22:46

Martha Kathleen Friedmann

By far the best combo.

FoxtrotOscarJuliet · 16/03/2010 22:59

Stephanie is lovely.

Fourleaf · 17/03/2010 17:48

Lexi - bit too trendy for my liking. Could call her Alexandra then she would have more options.
Martha - love
Rebecca - v nice and classic
Florence - nice but bit faddy
Libby - nice as nickname for Elizabeth
Stephanie - nice, seems quite unusual now
Clementine - like it!

ellesabe · 17/03/2010 18:37

Martha wins by far!

Hulababy · 17/03/2010 18:44

Lexi - I don't like this
Martha - love it
Rebecca - nice, ok
Florence - love it
Libby - sounds like a nn to me, for Elisabeth or Olivia or Liberty
Stephanie - I don't like this
Clementine - is ok, quite nice

HelenDoula · 17/03/2010 19:23

Martha
Florence
Clementine .... all beautiful

HarderToKidnap · 17/03/2010 23:53

Thank you all so much.

Natasha has just been suggested by DH.

OP posts:
thirtysomething · 18/03/2010 09:26

Natasha is a fabulous name - cool, timeless and very under-used. Go for it!

KatnKankles · 18/03/2010 13:30

Natasha sounds great with your surname and it's lovely.

I like Rebecca or Elizabeth too.

rachel234 · 18/03/2010 13:32

Natascha Friedmann sounds very German (nothing wrong with that ).

Pasiphae · 18/03/2010 13:35

I love Clementine with your surname, it has a 1900s feel.

Skegness · 18/03/2010 13:39

I think you should call her Sally J if you are a Judy Blume fan. Otherwise I'd go for Martha or Florence from your list.
