What about Victor, Donald, Howie, Bruce, Vincent, Dougie. These names all have something of the same pensioner at bowls club vibe, but are cooler (imo)

I love, love, love it and think it is due for a comeback. But sadly I think I am in a minority of one...

My beloved first cat was called Percy

This one was obsolete as long ago as the early 1900s: my FIL born in 1909 never forgave his Dad for saddling him with an awful name like that.

My grandad's budgie was called Percy.
