Hi mn's which would go better with ds1 Ellis James?Remy or Buster?
Dh loves Buster I don't really like it..If I put my foot down I think he'll go with Remy(I know he doesn't mind the name-he's just contrary..)
Also a distant friend has a Buster (and her eldest son is Blu)

Remy.

dizzydixies · 10/03/2010 18:50

neither if I'm honest, sorry

nikkisbump · 10/03/2010 19:52

I thought Remy was a girls name? And Buster is a dogs name to me... sorry.

BrigitteBardot · 10/03/2010 19:54

I don't like either, but I dislike Buster much more. Sorry.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 10/03/2010 20:15

I like Remy, but Buster is dreadful.

they're hideous.

paulaplumpbottom · 10/03/2010 20:23

I prefer Buster

CirrhosisByTheSea · 10/03/2010 20:53

Buster is the worst name in the history of the world. Why do it to the poor kid. Remy I don't mind.

SouthMum · 10/03/2010 21:22

Buster Gonad

Remy Martin

differentID · 10/03/2010 21:27

Um, sorry to be blunt, but I'd think you were naming an animal not a child

HappyMummyOfOne · 10/03/2010 21:55

Remy reminds me of the Disney rat film and Buster is a dogs name.

Buster is utterly awful.

Remy is absolutely a masculine name nikkisbump! French name and all that.

Remy, without a doubt.

RachieB · 12/03/2010 12:02

Buster is a dogs name!
Remy is fine if you are french ( like the one and only remy I know, half French)

but most people will say "oh like the rat in Ratatouille " lol !

twosofar · 12/03/2010 12:43

There is a Buster at my DS's pre school. I'm afraid I have to agree it's utterly ludicrous - it's a dog's name or at best a nickname for a fairly chubby child.
Think about what he may do as a career when he's an adult. If I had found out that my headmaster was called Buster I don't think he'd ever have been taken seriously again. Ditto virtually any profession.
Seriously, find a proper name and call him Buster if he turns out to be a chunk

RachieB · 12/03/2010 18:10

lol that reminds me we used to call our son Buster Boo as a silly nickname!

he wasn't particularly chunky though haha!

CaptainPicardsPineapple · 12/03/2010 18:18

If it has to be one of those two I say Remy because Buster would be ridiculous.

SoupDragon · 12/03/2010 18:23

Neither goes with Ellis and Buster is just plain ridiculous.
