What do you think of Victor?

I think I like it but not 100% sure

i like it.

my cat is called victor. not sure for a human baby.

its fabulous.

I really like it. It's not such a leap from Hector which is already very fashionable.

victor has a classic but quirky smugness which I like.

DH's grandfather was Victor so he would like it for DC4, but I hate Vic as a nn, so I think we may use it as a second or third name, but not as a Christian name.....

Fab name, Like it much better than Hector.

ah, now im a Victoria and i hate my name....i prefer it shortened to vic. not sure why but i arent keen on victor either, a bit too 'staid' and 'rigid' a name for me really, think i prefer Hector. but im biased probably.

I had no idea that Hector was fashionable. I knew one little boy called Hector a few years ago and everyone used to comment on what an usual name he had!

Anyway I definitely like Victor better than Hector - IMO they don't have the same feel even though the endings sound the name.

I also like Victoria for a girl but can't stand Vicky. Don't mind Vic as a nickname on a boy, so think I should probably stick with Victor and forget Victoria.

It's an unusual name for his age group (mid 30's)and I know he doesn't like it.
