Hi, just wanted people's opinions on these two?

They would be Samuel or Zackery.

Which do you prefer?

Zack

jellybeans · 06/03/2010 19:05

I like both.. but prefer Zack i think. Both lovely.

Tortoise · 06/03/2010 19:06

Zachary not seen it spelt with a k. My DS2's name. He is generally know as Zach.

CuppaTeaJanice · 06/03/2010 19:07

Samuel is one of those names that makes me want to fall asleep, like Thomas, James etc.

Zack's much better - it's got a bit of oomph to it.

bluecheesedip · 06/03/2010 19:20

I love both - but then I'm biased having one of each

2babesmum · 06/03/2010 19:37

Thanks guys. Know what you mean about Sam Cuppa, that's exactly why I like Zach (didn't realise the spelling jelly so thanx for that ) Zach does sound funkier I think but DP and both DD's like Sam

Love both. I have a Samuel and think its a strong masculine Biblical name.

lifeas3plus1 · 07/03/2010 18:30

Samuel is much nicer imo.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/03/2010 18:42

Samuel, definitely

zachsmama · 07/03/2010 19:56

I'm biased Our Zach is short for Zachariah rather than Zachery.

MillyMollyMoo · 07/03/2010 20:00

Sam will always be a dogs name for me, so I'd have to go with Zachary.

PatTheHammer · 07/03/2010 20:08

I have a Zachary (14mths) and everyone seems to shorten it to 'Zaccy' which seems to suit his cheeky-chappy persona to a tee.

You can spell any way you like, people spell his name with a K all the time.

Sam is nice too.

menomena · 08/03/2010 20:24

Samuel is lovely - probably my favourite for a boy. It's a classic and solid name, everyone knows it but IMO it's not boring and Sam is a good nickname.

Zachary is nice but Samuel seems more timeless. Don't like the spelling Zackery at all!

MummyTumble · 09/03/2010 12:12

Lovee them both, but I think Samuel is more classic and Zachary a bit more 'of the moment' - depends if this bothers you??

sassysass · 09/03/2010 12:20

Sam. I really dislike Zack/Zac/Zach.

FanjolinaJolie · 09/03/2010 13:31

Samuel is more classic - I agree.

Our completely gorgeous Border Terrier dog is called Zac!

loumum3 · 10/03/2010 08:40

I have one of each !
