opinions on my choices please

Logan for a boy
Harley for a girl.

We are just TTCing ATM so are thinking these names.

Logan is from Xmen and Harley is from a relatively new batman character.

What do you think? Please be as honest as you like Im not bothered if you like or hate them.

Logan is a really really really popular name here. Its nice but overused.

Harley - really dont like it. I know a wee boy called Harley which is kind of ok but not for a girl.

I know some people may think that comics/graphic novels etc are for children, but have you ever seen a graphic novel? They certainly are NOT for children. Full of violence and other adult themes. Well I certainly wouldnt let any of my children read them. If they brought out a film true to a graphic novel it would certainly be a 15 or 18 (like for example watchmen or sin city)

I think so long as it's actually a nice sounding name, when your kid grows up and says 'why am I called X' it's as acceptable to say 'I named you after a kick-ass character in a tv show/comic/whatever that I really enjoyed' as opposed to 'Dunno really, I just liked the name'
