Hah! Boudicca is great and I am glad to see you are spelling it correctly.

I don't really think you can call a child that tho, but hats off to you if you do.

DS1 was called Fidel as a bump - now that would have shocked my mum.

Horatio is OK if you live in a very posh bit of yummy west London.

DD1 was Rupert as a bump. I think DD2 was just Bump, as I had SPD and wasn't chuffed!
Boudicca is ok if you can predict great things for them in the fashion industry however not so great being called out over supermarket tannoy "Boudicca to aisle 5 for cleanup"
'crack of whip' off to Aisle 5!

midnightexpress 'Seriously mrsvwoolf? Boudicca? I mean you'd expect her to come steaming out of yer fanjo in a chariot really wouldn't you?'

I sincerely hope not - didn't she have blades strapped to the wheels?

It's a strong woman's name crying out to be revived, but - no.

nooka · 25/02/2010 04:33

I think Boudicca is fabulous. Not totally sure about Horatio, but I do think it is great to have such strong namesakes. My ds is very happy to be named after someone famous and important.
