I like it, very pretty for a little girl and also know a "grown-up" professional woman called Pippa and it suits her well.

Yes if you go for Phillipa on the birth cert. and have Pippa as a nn. It's a bit ditzy for a full name imo.

I think Pippa is lovely and think it's strong enough to stand as a name in it's own right. Had it on my shortlist for DC2 but we have a surname starting with P and think it may be a little OTT.
