I think we've finally got a proper shortlist, what do you think?

DS1 is Henry, surname sounds a bit like layman

Oscar William Stephen

Isaac William Stephen

Louis William Stephen

Oscar!

frizzylizzie · 03/02/2010 13:16

Out of the three names I like Louis best but Oscar goes best with your surname.

I'm not keen on Isaac.

LadyPops · 03/02/2010 13:24

Surname doesn't begin with 'l' so Louis probably works better than it first sounded!

I love Oscar but not sure if it might get really popular? Not that it really matters, but my name is really common - shared house at uni with 5 girls, 3 of us had the same name, was a bit annoying after a while!

Also wonder if Oscar is better suited to a little boy than a teenager/adult?

Oscar is very on-trend and will carry on climbing up to Oliver's popularity; they are very similar names, although Oscar will date more.

Louis has more staying power and is much less popular amongst the under 2s.

There's something about Isaac that I do not like. I think it's hard sounding like Connor/Lucas etc.

LadyPops · 03/02/2010 13:43

I think Louis probably goes better with Henry too?

Yes it does. Henry & Louis are definitely brothers!

jellybeans · 03/02/2010 14:05

Isaac William Stephen

MrsJohnDeere · 03/02/2010 14:10

From that list, Louis. Prefer William Louis though.

mathanxiety · 03/02/2010 15:51

Isaac or Louis.

Sunshinemummy · 03/02/2010 16:02

All nice but quite popular.

MaggieTaSeFuar · 03/02/2010 16:21

Louis
Isaac

Oscar
