Henderson?

What do you think of Henderson for a boy?

DH and I were thinking of Henry but my family has a tradition of Scottish names and Henderson just struck me as a possible compromise option (with Henry for short?).

I can't decided if I love it or hate it so please give your honest views!!!!

Thanks

Is his dad called Hender? If not, bit odd.

Pineapplechunks · 01/02/2010 17:18

Big foot and the....?

Not good IMO, sorry.

LaDiDaDi · 01/02/2010 17:19

Not keen on it tbh.

janeite · 01/02/2010 17:19

Sorry but I think it's dreadful.

birdofthenorth · 01/02/2010 17:26

Hee hee... back to the drawing board then I think!!!

Loving the Big Foot and Hender comments. Though wouldn't love them if I burdened a child with them for life, obviously!

Henry with a Scottish middle name it is then, perhaps!

Henry much better anyway.

MaggieTaSeFuar · 01/02/2010 18:09

not mad about it but I have heard a LOT worse.

I like Bruce, Hamish and Gregor. They seem cool to me, but I am not in Scotland. Scottish people might well laugh at my innocence! I also like Douglas/Doogie and Duncan and Fergus (with possibility of Gus for short). I love SCottish boys names actually.

Henderson Gill, man mountain and rugby legend!

I quite like it but prefer Cameron.

FoxyRevenger · 03/02/2010 12:09

Hendry, as an alternative maybe?
