I can't work out whether Zane is cool/classy or just plain chav.

The former or the latter??

DH's top name :S

I hate the word chav relating to baby names it serves no purpose at all

its not to my taste - a little too try hard

MadreInglese · 29/01/2010 16:59

trying too hard to be 'out there' and zaney IMO

like calling your kid Groove or Funk

I don't like it, sorry. Probably because I used to teach a really annoying one.

nlo · 02/02/2010 11:52

I used to love this name, but decided that in the real world being called Zane might not be all that great . Nice idea but not for a real child!

LowLevelWhingeing · 02/02/2010 11:54

No. It's not classy...

gorionine · 02/02/2010 11:56

It's a good name if you become a pro surfer or skateboarder etc not so good if you become a doctor.

I think it's the Zane = zaney which makes it a bit limited.
