Hi, just wondering what people thought of;

Emily
Lauren
Lucy
Amy

What possible nn's would they get shortened to.
TIA

I think that Lucy has the nicest shortenings - Lulu, Lu, Luce (though beware of playground teasings of Lucifer).

The others all sound a bit meh when shortened iykwim, though pretty enough in their full version.

Have to say that I'm not keen on Lauren and the shortenings for that are horrid imo.

I agree, that was my worry about Lauren, i dont tend to use nn's but family and friends at school would in the end, i forgot to put on Sophia. I know the nn's for that one, out of the other names, is this one as nice?
Thank you

Two Laurens in my DDs class and neither is a 'Lozza'! One is 'Laurie' and the other Lauren. Emily is Emmy.
