help with number 3

We are stuck for a name for number 3. We already have a boy (Freddy William) and a girl (Edith Elizabeth -Edie) but have no idea what we are having this time. These are what I like so far:

Boys (middle name Ian)
Wilf
Hamish
Hector
Arthur
Jonny
Ned (can't have tho - Fred, Ed and Ned i don't think so)

Girls (middle name anne unless stated)
Dorothea (dottie)
Anna Isabella
Kitty
Joanie
Ruthie

I like traditional names but these seem to be very popular at the moment. Also don't want to be too "trendy" if that makes sense?!

ooh, and had we have had a girl we would have used either corah, thea, or iris

I like Hector and Jonny for a boy (not that they go together!)

I always wanted Jonty for a boy - but my OH didn't like it!

LOVE the name Ian
Wilf - no because it's short for Wilfred and you have Freddy already
Hamish - very nice, goes well with Ian
Hector - not so in keeping with your other names, also not keen on the meaning of hectoring someone
Arthur - very nice, goes well with other names
Jonny - only like as nn for Jonathan or John
Ned - agree you can't have with Fred

Dorothea (dottie) - v nice, think this is going to be popular soon but so what
Anna Isabella - LOVE
Kitty - nice name, in keeping with others
Joanie - not terribly keen but OK
Ruthie - nice name

Wilf -- nice, but will it be Wilfred on the birth cert? That's a lot of -fred and -ed names if so.
Hamish -- LOVE
Hector -- LOVE
Arthur -- too many Arthurs around.
Jonny -- Would name him Jonathan, nn Jonny
Ned -- No, you can't do this, you're right. Ditto for Edward, Edwin, Edgar.

Dorothea (dottie) -- Prefer Theodora. You have a lot of D sounds already, though.
Anna Isabella -- LOVE
Kitty -- only as nn for Katherine.
Joanie only if Joan was on the birth cert even so, I don't like this much.
Ruthie -- LOVE, if nn for Ruth.

i think (to my ear) another "ie" or "y" name might be a bit much...?
So for me
Freddy, Edie and Arthur (or George or Will? Actually Wilf is ok too)
Freddy, Edie and Anna (or Beatrice or Martha?)

I was thinking Anna for a girl but see you have it

Jonny or Hamish for a boy I love Hamish

i also have a frederick and love edward, but sadly can't do Fred 'n' Ned.

don't think you can do Wilf, for reasons above.

Think Arthur best boys name from your list and Anna from girls, but not sure about both the girls first and middle names ending in 'a', how about Anna Isabelle?
