Arghhhh can't pick a name and feel incredibly guilty!

Hia, DD2 due in March, a while away, I know. But DP and I can't agree on a name, in fact we can't even agree on maybes!

I'm probably just over emotional but its making me feel really guilty as we picked a name for DD1 that we both loved and now feel as if DD2 is getting the short straw!

Anyway, how long did it take some people to decide on babes names, even after they arrived and did people just settle on a name and regret it or did they grow to love it!

Did anyone have any unique methods of picking names (we've tried the eddie stobbard method, no luck )

I would just feel better if we had some maybes but I suppose we'll get there.

DD1 is only 16 months old otherwise I'd let her pick a name! I have 2 sisters and my mum thought we would all be boys (she has 2 boys too) so I was nameless for two weeks until she heard a song on the radio, my sister was nameless for 3 weeks until a name just clicked and when the youngest sister arrived she just asked me to name her, so she was named after my doll!

So I know we will get a name and it will be perfect, even if its one we have to get used to!

elvisscavo DD1 is Ainslie Frances.

We took a long time deciding on this as DP wanted to have Ann in their somewhere after his mum. I found somewhere on one page on the net that Ainslie meant "from Ann's meadow" so that convinced him. But the other million pages say it means "from my own meadow" but shhh don't tell DP!

I would like to have something that would maybe incorporate my mum's name but her name is Mechele and other than Michaela/Mischa etc I can't think of anything else.
