Cressida, Dorothea and Violetta

What do you think of our final shortlist?

I like Cressida.. if DS had been a DD that was the name we had chosen. Don't care if it's poncetastic or a type of Toyota I like it.

I like Dorothy more than Dorothea. Not sure I like the other names.

A bit prissy - Dorothea ok I guess.

Cressida the best of the bunch but can think of 500 other names I prefer to any of these.

Cressida def not - it's a blind (as in curtain blind)...

Violetta sounds like a made up musical instrument...

Dorothea - I would expect her to be 90, not newborn...

I like Dorothy alot. Not keen on Dorothea though.

Don't like Violetta (it sounds like an icecream) but Violet is OK.

I wouldnt use any myself but think Dorothea is the best of the 3.

I love Dorothea, weirdly, I thought of this yesterday for my new bump, if it's a girl, with a shortening of Thea. Like the other two a lot also, so maybe we are on a par for classical names. Ignore all these Neanderthals who don't get us, we're just ahead of the curve!

I know a little Dorothea called Thea for short.I like it.
