I like Seraphina - but I seem to love 'poncy' names .

Verin · 24/12/2009 14:14

Its growing on me, quite like it.

nappyaddict · 28/12/2009 12:45

Love it

sorky · 28/12/2009 12:52

It's one of my kids middle names, means Angel in Latin

victoriascrumptious · 28/12/2009 21:44

I like it and i'm not poncey

It will be shortened to Sera though

lamg · 28/12/2009 21:58

Seraphina is a gorgeous name. Even the nn's sound good Sera/Fina etc. Not at all poncy. Beautiful name.

mathanxiety · 28/12/2009 22:21

Fabulous name. I know one whose family is Italian. She spells it with an f. I love Safira too.

dizzycringles · 29/12/2009 11:25

lovely

kittywise · 29/12/2009 11:30

no.
God there a lot of of very poncey baby names threads ATM

MaggieMnaSneachta · 29/12/2009 11:54

AWful. I know a French woman who has one. eurughghghgh

MaggieMnaSneachta · 29/12/2009 11:55

safira is much nicer.

there's something so nauseatingly ecclesiastical about Seraphina. Also, anybody sensible has a four syllable embargo 3 has to be my limit i'm afraid.

kittywise · 29/12/2009 13:40

safira\ zafira.

No

HerbalHolly · 29/12/2009 13:50

I think it's great.

Northernlebkuchen · 29/12/2009 13:57

I like it. Also like Augusta, Octavia, Ada, and Henrietta.

fanjolina · 29/12/2009 14:01

I like it

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 29/12/2009 14:03

was just watching the golden compass and thinking what a nice name it is. i do prefer the f spelling though, esp when you take into account the fina nickname.

displayuntiltwelfthnight · 29/12/2009 14:05

pretty
