Yup.

GooseyLoosey · 15/12/2009 09:47

Another yes - and its lovely!

bellissima · 15/12/2009 09:48

Indeed yes - and much nicer than Chris.

Ondine · 15/12/2009 10:07

Or Christian.

I think Kit is a fab name btw.

HelewiseWoolf · 15/12/2009 10:07

It was traditionally, and again now appears to be the current fashionable shortening.

deepdarkwood · 15/12/2009 10:09

Yes - lovely!

turkeydrumstix · 15/12/2009 12:44

Yup, although you can probably use it in its own right now. Great name!

StayingSantasGirl · 15/12/2009 13:07

I wanted to shorten one of the dses from Christopher to Kit - I far prefer it to Chris - but it didn't suit him so we never did, and now, if he's shortened, he's shortened to Chris.

MaggieAnFiaRua · 15/12/2009 21:49

Yes my cousin uses kit for her son Christopher. I like it.

Rachiesparrow · 16/12/2009 15:56

Yep. Great name for a boy, I think.

goingforitagain · 16/12/2009 16:36

it is in the case of my FIL. MIL calls him this .... .said in your strongest Dublin city accent (silent T)

kitsmummy · 16/12/2009 16:43

It is but it's way cooler than Christopher . DS is a Kit, no more, no less!

brimfull · 16/12/2009 16:47

cece · 16/12/2009 16:51

I like it and I don't usually like names beginning with K

gothgirl77 · 18/12/2009 18:52
