Middle name for Maia?

We have chosen Maia for our baby's first name (or Maya, haven't quite decided yet) and I'm searching for a middle name. The only one I can think of is Rose, which I like but can you help with others?
Surname begins with Con...

Thanks

Every other baby has the middle name Rose or Grace. Unless it's especially significant to you I'd go for something more original.

Rosalie
Amelie
Isobel
Jasmine

i think maya looks better spelt this way...middle name? think thats a hard one...rose goes nicely but reminds me of briar rose...think its such a difficult decision to make xx

Maia?

Maya on the other hand, is a beautiful name.

minxofmancunia · 13/12/2009 10:31

We have a Maia Elizabeth which I think is lovely, Maia is the Greek version whereas Maya is central american, both perfectly acceptable imo.

Elizabeth is our family name and a good generic middle name imo, but then I'm biased

winjy · 13/12/2009 10:32

yeh elizabeth is a good middle name for maya...its also our family middle name too and one which i will use if i have a girl

Thissideofchannel · 13/12/2009 10:49

We used middle names that were relevant to our family (my dd has my aunt's name and my ds has my dad's name), so perhaps you could choose a name that means something to your family?

nellynaemates · 13/12/2009 11:37

There's nothing wrong with Maia. They're both valid versions of the name with different origins.

yourself.

(You'd never guess it was my middle name would you?)

ohnelly · 13/12/2009 12:21
