It's from the book "The Indian in the Cupboard", isn't it!!
What does it mean, does anyone know?

Cortina · 02/12/2009 10:06

Yes, but the author chose an Israeli name I think. It was also the name she chose for her son. She lived there for some years. Lynne Reid Banks I think.

I like it, the only time I have ever heard it is in The Indian in the Cupboard but he was a nice boy!

LynetteScavo · 02/12/2009 10:09

I think it's Jewish, isn't it?

I quite like it.

MamaLazarou · 02/12/2009 10:20

People may think you are saying Henri, as in Thierry.

gladders · 02/12/2009 10:23

it's quite cute but agree you will get lots of people misspelling/mispronouncing it?

trivia fact - the kids who played john ross ewing in Dallas was called omri katz..... no idea how i remember that one!

mumoftoomany · 02/12/2009 10:47

I like it. I think it's pretty phonetic so you shouldn't get many misspellings.
