a boys name to match my dd's

well as much as a boys name can!
dd's are scarlette and isabella ds1 is due in 3 weeks.
we had chose carter but what do you think? any suggestions?

You need a longish name with a short version don't you...

i had short list of reuben, finley, roary

But...What about Alexander (Xander, Lex, Alex)
-This was mine shortlisted for DC2 who ended up a DD and has a different name.

Perhaps it's unisex, like Rowan/Roan ? I do like it, but I would expect it to be a girl.

I like the name Rudy but think it would have to be Rudolph or Rudyard on the birth certificate (neither of which I'm totally keen on), so I suspect it may be out for that reason. I really couldn't call a christmas baby Rudolph could I ??

Tilly we were going to have a Reuben known as Rudy if that helps at all - I'm not one for the rules re nicknames/shortenings though

The Scarlet & Isabel I already know IRL have a little brother named Michael (Biblical middle name, too).

I'd go for SebastiaN or Alexander

i liked alexander as it was dh's fathers name and i think xander is nice but his son from previous marriage has that for a second name..

think i am favouring Sebastian at the moment

Alexnader doe sfit the regal but not King of Englandy criteria, i think it's lovely and the family connection is nice too.
