Ava

3 friends of mine are all due around the same time and have all chosen Ava for their girls name. I know of another woman who has chosen Ava too. Is it really that popular nowadays? I don't know of any Avas at the minute but looks like I will know 3 if they all have girls! Luckily they don't know each other.

Ava is my little girls name and I was worried about it being too popular, but so far I have not heard of any others in our area.

Ava was 21 on the top 100 girls names for last year -so yes it's pretty popular now, but I think it's a coincidence to know three potential Ava's at once!

How do you pronounce it: Ay-va or Avva?

I would pronounce it Ay-va.

I only know of 1.

It's a lovely name - pretty but not too twee or girly. Good for all ages.
