So, we have a thread for girl's names - here's one for the boys!

I'd say Alexander.

actually, cheerful, with a surname like Brick, I think that you need to go a bit more flowery on the first name :

Gabriel Brick ?

I love Oliver, Toby and Harry. All popular but for a good reason.

Bleenherbe · 10/11/2009 11:41

Ihaveaheadache, I have two from your list (sons I mean)...

MaggieMonday · 10/11/2009 14:48

For long, long life I'd say Patrick, Marcus, Richie, Frederick

This minute I love Bruce, Victor and Howie.

But I am sensible/cowardly and I give my children 'for life' names even if I think that Bruce/Victor/Howie very cool.

I know Jamie but I just love Jack so...perhaps will have to hyphenate my maiden name with Brick to make it work. Though we already have a Sam Brick, which sounded too abrupt to me at first but is now just normal as I've said it so many times "Sam Brick, get down from there right now", etc.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 10/11/2009 18:33

I like Jack too, and Sam ...

Cheerful

Raahh · 10/11/2009 20:05

Elliot- which I used for DS, and was grateful I then had a DD, as i can't think of any names i like as much!

thisisyesterday · 10/11/2009 20:18

Linus

Marioandluigi · 12/11/2009 09:48

Thomas

persephoneplum · 12/11/2009 11:03

So hard to choose between my two sons' names but I know I love one name just a little more:

Theodore

ShowOfHands · 12/11/2009 11:06

Seth or Inigo

notagrannyyet · 12/11/2009 11:20

If I could only choose 1 it would have to be James.

FimbleHobbs · 12/11/2009 11:28

Tom

re. Jack Brick, what about Jackson Brick? So he'd be Jack most of the time but Jackson Brick when naughty for special occasions.

nickelbabe · 12/11/2009 11:30

i've been thinking this over and over and i can't think of a better one than James.

it wins every time.

aristocat · 12/11/2009 11:33

david but didnt use it

chickatee · 12/11/2009 12:25

Evan

We used it for Ds2. Dh chose it and I really wasn't sure about it at the time but now I love love love it.

whelk · 12/11/2009 13:35

joe - i'm gutted that its so popular - not that i'm having any more

hellokitty123 · 12/11/2009 13:46

Quentin

We didn't use it for ds, but I now wish we had...

Goober · 12/11/2009 13:47

Perry.

namingnamechanger · 12/11/2009 19:14

Dominic (couldn't use it because it's my brother's name)
Jasper (ds1)

PanicMode · 14/11/2009 18:58

I have a Theodore and a Rufus and I love both equally.

If this next one is a boy I don't know what we're going to choose - I adore Magnus, but don't think we can have two -us endings......

boredwithfoodprob · 15/11/2009 18:16

Jem - unusual but not silly imo

mrswill · 15/11/2009 20:50

Joint first would be William or Thomas, followed by Rhodri.

MrsWillis · 15/11/2009 22:28

Joseph ever since I saw Donny Osmond in Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat when I was younger

and yes it's DS's name.

I love Isaac too if I ever have another son but DH has said a firm no.
